Ha Ha! You talking about that guy and notation?
The lessons are appreciated, but most people PM me (like AM in the first lesson) but you always get ONE person that has to be negative. Well...normally more than one on basschat, lol.
His comment has absolutely no viability to it at all. And you'll notice that people that make these comments will never have sites. No videos. They never want people to see their ability. They just sit in the background and stab.
Actually, I have a problem with that site. There are a lot of idiots on it. I don't know why, but it reflects bad on us brits. Yea man, the word "snobby" is perfect.
I asked them some time back if I could make my beginner lesson thread a sticky (like the guys on talkbass did), and I was told that they "don't do that, because there are too many lessons out there". A couple of months later, I notice Dave Marks has a beginners bass lesson thread! Ha Ha! That made me chuckle.
But, that's the nature of the internet I guess...

Re: New Tapping Exercise
Ahh the internet the ability to annoy and jab at people you'll never have to deal with face to face...
Anyway, good post
There should be a rep system on this forum and if there is I should be aware of it

Causes needless trouble - something you don't want in small communitys like this. In my opinion of course.

Couldn't agree more, I don't generally get involved with large communities - gaming, bass or otherwise. I prefer Communities like this, more human and less dickheady approach
Re: New Tapping Exercise

Snobby twats on there really get on my nerves! ARGHH!!
Hey Guys I have been hiding out just reading the forums, I really enjoy this tapping exercise. I am trying to figure out a way to loop it. I like listening to it while I do my 1234 exercises. Anyway thanks for posting it. And all the other lessons you have done, it has gotten me interested in practicing again. I have not practiced for over 8 years so I really needed to start again. I have just been working the songs that I will be playing each week and not trying to improve my technique so again thank you.
Anyway back to lurking y'all have a good day and keep it up.

That has got to be one of my favorite jam things by Dman. That one, or maybe The Cosmic Sprout
