Why do the best musicians always die

I know that there are lots of awesome musicians still alive, but i was just trying to name great musicians that have died early, thought i would post this and see how many others people come up with, ill start off with:

Jimi Hendrix
Michael Jackson
Dimebag Darrel

The problem is that there are many, many amazing musicians that are alive. Unfortunatly, death sells!

There are probably a lot of musicians around today on par or better than the people that will be listed in this thread I mean Diamond Darrell etc where good but you can find shredders just as good as them everywhere. Their tragic deaths add more mystery to their persona and become one of the main reasons why a lot of their fans like them.

SRV, Layne Staley, George Harrison and John Lennon are genuinely awesome though as was Michael Jackson but you could tell his time was short
